Carol Jean HENRY

Henry, Carol J. "Penny" - Age 90, most recently of Lewiston, MI and formerly of Parshallville, MI went to join our Lord, May 12, 2012 at the home of her daughter and son-in-law where she lived for the past three years. She was born on January 30, 1922 in Howell, MI. Her father, Clarence Sheely, and mother, Margaret (Hardy) Manley preceded her in death. She was an only child. Penny married Merton Henry July 22, 1942. She is survived by five children, Sharon (Leroy) Johnson of Lewiston, MI, Ben (Linda) Henry of Linden, MI, Sandra (Kenneth) Siderman of Traverse City, MI, Robert (Susan) Henry of Brighton, MI, and Michael (Linda) Henry of Kokomo, IN; nineteen grandchildren and close to 45 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton, MI. Pastor Doug McGeorge will be officiating. Burial in Oakwood Cemetery, Fenton, MI. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 2-4 PM and 6-9 PM and Wednesday from 10 AM until the time of service. An Eastern Star Memorial will be held at 6:30 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to Transfiguration Lutheran Church, The Salvation Army Bed and Bread Club or Hospice of Michigan.
