Carol Jean Flynn-Heines

Flynn-Heines, Carol Jean - Age 79, Byron, passed away January 18, 2025. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 East Broad Street, Linden. 

Carol was born February 17, 1945 in Durand, Michigan, the daughter of Lester Tower and June (Brady) Tower. She graduated from Byron High School in 1963. She then went on to hold multiple jobs, which included a school bus driver, Black Jack dealer, and a postal worker, retiring from the United States Postal Service. She enjoyed her family and loved getting together to play cards and dice until all hours of the night. 

She is survived by her sons, John Flynn of Byron, Patrick (Debbie) Flynn of Euless, TX, and Matt Flynn of Las Vegas, NV; grandchildren, Veronica Tannery, Torii (Matthew) Taylor, Tyler Flynn and his fiancé, Brook Pepper, Corey (Stephanie) Flynn, Austin Flynn, Melissa Flynn and her partner, Ethan Crisp, and Sean Flynn; great grandchildren, Dakota Tannery, Peyton Tannery, Archer Taylor, Finlee Taylor; sisters, Shirley Mack, Margie Belous, and Geri Soupal; brother, Jack Tower; several nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by daughter, Kara Flynn; son, Ryan Flynn; her parents, Lester and June Tower; and brother, Dale Tower.
