CLARK, Carol B. - Age 90, of Fenton, died Saturday, May 17, 2008 at Genesys Hospice Care Center. Services will be held 7 PM Thursday, May 22, 2008 at Holy Spirit Lutheran Church, G-7234 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc. Pastor William Stenke officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:30 PM until the time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to Holy Spirit Lutheran Church or Genesys Hospice. Carol was born December 8, 1917 in Philadelphia, PA, the daughter of John Richard and Isobel Marie (Jackson) Bechtel. She was married to John Edwin Clark on September 16, 1939; he preceded her in death on November 8, 1995. She worked as an administrative assistant at Gilbert & Hultz. Mrs. Clark had lived in the Fenton area since 1997, coming from North Carolina. She was a member of the Forget-Me-Not Club, Holy Spirit Lutheran Church and Young at Heart Seniors. Surviving are: son, John (Sharon) Clark of Eagleville, PA, Cynthia (Mark) Reese of Fenton; six grandchildren, Stephen (Angel) Clark, Nicole (Matt) O'Malley, Megan Clark, Lisa (Stephen) Marlin, Tracy (Michael) Beck, Scott (Allison) Reese; 14 great-grandchildren; sister, Elaine (Joe) Puig of Florida; sister-in-law, Virginia Schlichter of PA.
