Carol Burns

BURNS, Carol A.- Age 75, of Linden formerly of Alpena, died Thursday, June 28, 2007 at Genesys Health Park, Grand Blanc.  Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, June 30, 2007 at Hope Lutheran Church, 7355 W. Silver Lake Road, Linden.  Pastor Lawrence Eckart officiating.  Burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Alpena.  Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St, Linden from 5-9 PM Friday and at the church from 10 AM until time of service.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Hope Lutheran Church Building Fund.  Carol was born January 24, 1932 in Alpena, the daughter of William and Hattie (Weide) Bey.  She married Lloyd J. Burns September 30, 1950 in Herron.  Surviving are: husband, Lloyd; 6 children, Michael (Donna) of Wisconsin, William (Margaret) of Ohio, Cheryl (Ronald) Wintland of Linden, Karen (Charles) Budnick of Battle Creek, Steven (Rosanne) of Linden, Phillip of Georgia; 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; brother, James (Leona) Bey of Swartz Creek; sister, Mildred Timmreck of Alpena; many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents; son, John; sister, Evelyn Scott.  Friends may share an online condolence at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com
