BROWN, Carol Ann - Age 63, of Flint, passed away peacefully, Saturday, May 22, 2010 at her residence. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint, with Pastor Joseph Carpenter officiating. Burial in Flint Memorial Park, Mt. Morris. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Sunday from 6-9 PM, Monday from 1-9 PM and Tuesday from 10:00 AM until time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to the Carol Ann Brown Memorial Fund. Carol was born June 20, 1946 in Grand Rapids. She married James C. Brown October 26, 1963 in Flint. She had resided in Flint since 1955. Surviving are: husband, James C. Brown; 4 children, Michael James and wife Annette Brown of Swartz Creek, Kimberly and husband David Fenner of Burton, Jennifer and husband Rudy Starr of Flint and Heather and husband Roy Woodward of Flint; 12 grandchildren and 1 great grandson; brother, Richard Straight of Grand Rapids; sister-in-law, Jean Guthrie of Flint; 2 brothers-in-law, Roger and wife Sue Brown of Clio and Raymond and wife Edie Brown of Mt. Morris; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Beulah and Howard Boyne and William Straight; 4 sisters, 2 brothers and 1 brother-in-law.
