ARVOY, Carol B. - age 70, of Swartz Creek died Friday, December 9, 2011 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Services will be held 3 PM Thursday, December 15, 2011 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. The family will receive friends from 1 PM until the time of service Thursday. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Carol was born July 15, 1941 in Flint, the daughter of Peter D. and Maxine (Adams) Maul. She married Walter Arvoy on April 7, 1967. Carol was the City Clerk for Swartz Creek for many years. She was extremely active in the Swartz Creek Community especially with the Swartz Creek Fine Arts Association. Swartz Creek Senior Center and the Genesee County City Clerk Association. She also owned a software company, E-Z Entry Software, LLC that serviced smaller municipalities in Michigan. Surviving are: husband, Walter of Swartz Creek; two daughters, Vickie Lynn (James) McKnight of Falmouth, MI, Michelle M. (Mark Amezcua) Arvoy of Ann Arbor; three grandchildren, Michael S. Pertler of Flint; Noah and Sabina Amezcua of Ann Arbor; three great-grandchildren, Anneliese Pertler, Maleigha McKnight and Claura Kilpatrick; two brothers, Paul D. Maul and Dennis H.
