Carlyle Steede

STEEDE, Carlyle Dustin, age 93, of Linden, passed away August 30, 2020. Graveside services will be held at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly at a later date. Arrangements by Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad Street, Linden. Carlyle was born July 6, 1926 in Marietta, Ohio the son of Leo Clyde and Thelma (Hamilton) Steede. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.  He married Barbara Jean Patsy on July 30, 1949 in Fenton. Carlyle retired as a repair welder from Buick in 1986. He loved the outdoors, enjoying hunting, fishing and golfing. He and Barb liked to travel and enjoyed going to the casino and loved spending time with their dog, Molly. He is a lifetime member of the Fenton VFW. He is survived by his wife, Barbara; brother, Raymond (Lois) Steede; several nieces and nephews.
