Carl Woods

WOODS, Carl William - Age 73, of Gaines, passed away October 9, 2021. Committal Service with Navy Honors will be held 2:30 PM Thursday, November 4, 2021 at Great Lakes National Cemetery 4200 Belford Rd., Holly. Pastor Howard Wideman officiating. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 East Broad St., Linden. Memorial contributions may be made to Fellowship Bible Church, Hartland.

Carl was born November 22, 1947 in Lawrence, KS, the son of Everett B. and Gwendolyn (Linderman) Woods. He married Arlene L. in Osage KS November 18, 1995. Carl proudly served in the U.S. Navy for 10 years. He was the owner of C & A Remodeling. Carl was a member of Fellowship Bible Church in Hartland. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, archery, and studying genealogy.

Carl is survived by: his wife, Arlene; brother, Everett (Rhonda) Woods; sister, Sharon (Charles) Houston; nephew, Michael (Janet) Woods; niece, Michelle (Randy) Steinkamp; nephew, David (Melissa) Houston; grandson, Beau Allen; several nieces and nephews; and great nieces and nephews.
