WHEELER, Carl James - Age 87, of Fenton, died Monday, June 11, 2018. Funeral services will be held 8:00 PM Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Wednesday from 2:00 PM until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the Wounded Warrior Project National Chapter. Carl was born February 6, 1931 in Wayne, the son of Howard and Rhea (Squires) Wheeler. He was a Korean War veteran serving in the U.S. Army. He married Letitia "Tish" Croke October 27, 1956 in Inkster. He retired from Ford Motor Company Rawsonville Plant as a supervisor. Surviving are: his wife of 62 years, Tish; 5 children, Judy and husband Kevin Bradbury, David and wife Jill Wheeler, Andrew and wife Amy Wheeler, Mary and husband Richard Wilson, and Edward and wife Elizabeth Wheeler; 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
