Carl Ronnie Simpson

Carl Ronnie Simpson, age 73, of Flint Township, passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2025. A funeral service will take place 1:00 PM, Friday, February 21, 2025 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek with burial to follow in Sunset Hills Cemetery, Flint. Visitation will take place from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM Thursday and again from 12:00 PM until the time of service Friday. 

Carl was born on November 14, 1951 in Flint the son of the late Carl and June (Jaques) Simpson-Taylor. He graduated from Ainsworth High School. Carl worked for GM UAW 599 Buick for many years before his retirement. He enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren. Carl spent his free time, watching the Detroit Lions, NASCAR and gardening.  

He is survived by his children, Darcy Cooke, David, Jessie, Katie, Ronnie and Tommie Simpson; 6 grandchildren; siblings, June Marie (Wayne) Wilson, Richard James Simpson and Joan Lynn (Pat) Ambrosino; special niece, Theresa Peterson; and several nieces and nephews.
