Carl Howard HULTQUIST

HULTQUIST, Carl Howard, age 95 of Holly, died on August 30, 2009 at Genesys Health Park. Funeral services will be 1:30 P.M. Wednesday, September 2, 2009 at Sharp Funeral Home, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, William Bristol officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Hills Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home will be Tuesday from 1:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.Carl was born on December 11, 1913 in Engadine, Michigan, the son of Sven (Oscar) and Nellie Hultquist. Carl graduated from Clio High School, Genesee Country Normal and Baker Business College. Carl worked at Fisher Body Division, GMC for 32 years, retiring in 1974 as a salaried supervisor. Carl was an avid gardener, staying healthy by maintaining his lawn and gardens at his country home from 1953 until his death. Carl is survived by his wife Margery (Rueckert) Hultquist, children; Beverly Nunemaker (Larry), Alice Stovin (Scot), Carl J. Hultquist (Roxanne); stepchildren; Howard King (Connie), Judy Fick (Jack), Janet Black (George) and many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
