Born on November 6, 1955, in Flint, MI, Carl was the son of the late William and Virginia (O'Neal) Hoskey. He was a proud graduate of Carman High School. On November 10, 1973, Carl married Pamela Lindsey, and together they built a loving family, spending 49 years together. He dedicated many years of service to General Motors, where he was a member of Local 659, working on the assembly line and later as a committee man until his retirement.

Carl was a devoted member of Glad Tidings Tabernacle, where he had the honor of serving as a greeter and usher for many years. He was also involved in his community, previously volunteering as a Clare County Sheriff Reserve Deputy where he was awarded Officer of the Year in 2010. A passionate outdoorsman, Carl enjoyed fishing and hunting, was an avid gun enthusiast, and participated in the Genesee County Bassmasters. He took great pride in showing his 1977 Camaro at car shows with his family. In his leisure time, he relished watching the Detroit Lions and New England Patriots, cheering for his grandchildren at different sporting events, and enjoyed countless rounds of golf.

Carl is survived by his two daughters, Jennifer (Richard) Schmunk and Casey (Jonathan) Wilson; five grandchildren, Christopher Hoskey, Carl (Brianna) Hoskey, Grace Wilson, Alexis Wilson, and Cameron Wilson; his sister, Barb (Greg) Helms; and his furry companion, Brady.

Carl was preceded in death by his beloved wife Pam, his parents, his daughter Jessica Hoskey, his grandson David Wilson, and his brothers Fred and Curtis Hoskey. Memorial tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
