Carl Hobday

HOBDAY, Carl Stanton - age 84, of Grand Blanc, died October 24, 2022. A Masonic Memorial service and luncheon will be held 12 PM Saturday, November 19, 2022 at the Swartz Creek Masonic Hall,  7449 Miller Rd, Swartz Creek, MI 48473. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Royal Arch Masonry, Grand Chapter RAM of Michigan, P.O. Box 1185, Pinckney, MI 48169 (www.grandchaptermi.org) or the charity of one's choice. Carl was born October 5, 1938 in Birmingham, England, the son of Geoffrey Thomas and Margaret Mary (Elsden) Hobday. He married Patricia Wendy England on June 6, 1964. Carl served in the British Army, the Corp of Royal Military Police and Gurkha Military Police in Singapore, Malaya. He was an Automotive Design Engineer retiring from Volkswagon. Carl was very active in many of the Masonic orders. He is survived by his wife, Patricia and many loving colleagues and friends.
