Carissa Winberg

WINBERG, Carissa  Marie -- Age 23 of Fenton died June 20, 2021. Funeral services will be held at 3 PM Sunday, June 27 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton.  Visitation will be 2-8 PM Friday and again 1PM until time of service on Sunday at the funeral home.  Those desiring may make contributions to UCAN, ucanmichigan@.com.

Carissa was born August 15, 1997 in Port Huron the daughter of Matthew L. and Rachelle A. (Waske) Winberg.  She attended Hartland High School.  She was an apprentice in the family business, Winberg Flooring Service of Fenton.  She also was employed as a waitress at Stingers in Wixom, and T-Bonez in Brighton. Carissa enjoyed music, singing, outdoors, and kayaking on the river. She also cherished spending time with her family.

She is survived by her parents, Matthew and Rachelle Winberg; brothers, Cody Waske, Camden Winberg, and Case Winberg; grandparents, Annette Winberg, Cindy & Bill Burks, and Tom Waske; great grandmother, Mary Chambers; aunts, Lauralyn (Jack) Conley, Lisa (John) Griffin, and Jill Boom; uncle, Jeff (Julie) Waske; nieces, Kennedy Waske and Charlotte Olivia Marie Winberg; nephew, Hudson Waske; great aunts and uncles, several cousins and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by grandfather, Lowell Winberg, and great grandparents Charlie Chambers, Morris and Adelaide Cook, Ray E. and Leona Winberg, Alex and Betty Waske. Tributes may be shared  at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
