Calvin C. Campbell

CAMPBELL, Calvin C.  Age 79, of Mauldin, SC, formerly of Fenton, died Tuesday, October 26, 2004 in Simpsonville, SC. Memorial service will be held 1 PM Saturday, October 30, 2004 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. The family will receive friends from 12 PM until the time of service Saturday. Interment of cremated remains will be at St. John Cemetery. Mr. Campbell was born August 10, 1925 in Cardwell, MO, the son of Calvin Clinton and Nannie Lue (Greenwood) Campbell. He was a veteran of World War II. Mr. Campbell retired from Leaseway as a truck driver. He had lived in Michigan his entire life until 2003 when he moved to South Carolina with his daughter. He was a member of the Teamsters and the VFW. Surviving are: daughter, Charlotte M. and husband, Mark Fields of Mauldin, SC; two sons, Shelby Lee Meredith and wife, Janet of Holly, William C. Campbell and wife, Lisa of Argentine; five grandchildren, Shelby, William Nichols, Megan, Heather, Nedra; two great-grandchildren; brother, Jerry Bishop and wife, Sharon of KY.
