Barajas, C. Joyce - Age 66, of Flint, died Friday, October 20, 2017. Funeral services will be held 11AM Tuesday, October 24, 2017, at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Pastor Seth Ferguson officiating. Burial will follow in Flushing Cemetery, Flushing. Visitation will be held 4PM - 8PM Monday and 10AM until time of service Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice House of Shiawassee County. Joyce was born, October 2, 1951 in Flint, MI, the daughter of the late Howard L. and Minnie Belle (Randall) Reed. She married Ruben Barajas and he preceded her in death in September of 2014. Joyce worked for Kearsley Schools in the library, PrintComm, and for the United Way. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and enjoyed going up north, fishing, reading, and especially spending time with her family. Surviving are: sister Jeri Carlton of Flint Twp; nieces, Tracy Carlton of Grand Blanc, Leighann (Jaft) Sammons of Buckley, MI, Holly Carlton of Flint and nephew, Buddy Carlton of Flint Twp. Joyce was also survived by special great nephew Max and niece Marin; several step children and step grandchildren.
