Burton Harold Biggs, Jr.

BIGGS, Burton Harold, Jr. - Age 84, of Linden, passed away Sunday, May 19, 2024.  Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, May 23, 2024 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St, Linden (The service will be live streamed and can be viewed via the link on Mr. Biggs obituary page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com). Deacon Ron Kenney officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Thursday from 12:00 PM until the time of the service.  

Burton was born March 1, 1940 in Flint, the son of Burton Harold, Sr. and Mary Ann (Whitson) Biggs.  He was a 1958 graduate of Flint Northern High School.  He married Bonnie Jeanne Whetstine September 21, 1968 in Linden.  He had resided in Linden for the past 55 years coming from Flint.  Burton retired from GM Milford Proving Grounds; and he also was an Tax Preparer.  He enjoyed fishing, watching Nascar, Detroit Lions and Detroit Tigers and he was an avid reader; most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially with his grandchildren.  

Surviving are: are his wife, Bonnie; daughters, Christine (Chuck) Hodson of Texas, Jennifer (Scott) Morse of Linden and Melissa (Timothy) Gates of North Carolina; grandchildren, Jamie (Shawn), Adam (Dawn), Alix, Rhiannon, Nicholas, Spencer, Christopher, Madison, Viola, Nora, Finn and Cass; great grandchildren, Audrey, Maizen, Zoe, Levi, Piper and, Gracelynn; brother, Thomas (Starlene) Biggs of Lapeer; and several nieces and nephews.
