Burnell Jenkins

Jenkins, Burnell - Age 93, of Flint, died January 10, 2018. Funeral services will be held 3PM Saturday January 13, 2017 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd. Flint. Visitation will be held 12PM Saturday until the time of service. Burnell was born February 24, 1924 in Flint, the son of Charles and Mabel (Loomus) Jenkins. He was a Veteran of the US. Army serving in WWII. Burnell was a local carpenter. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, casinos, gardening and woodworking. He is survived by his children, David (Jennie) Jenkins of Port Charlotte, FL., Debbie (Tim) Dargel of Montrose, Nancy (Jack) Mooring of Flint, Marshall Munger of Flint, Becky (Joe) Limon of Lansing; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great grandchildren; sister, Joan Davis of Milford; many nieces and nephews. Burnell was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie; daughter, Cheryl; son, Jerry Jenkins, son, Mark Frieberger; siblings, Beryl, Paul, Peg and Pete.
