Burl Lemonds

Lemonds, Burl E. -- Age 91, of Linden, passed away May 11, 2018 at Caretel Inns of Linden. At Mr. Lemonds request, there will be no public service. Private burial will be held at Sunset Hills Cemetery, Flint. Arrangements are being handled by Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden. Mr. Lemonds was born in Kennett, Missouri on December 30, 1926 to Louie and Goldie (Metheny) Lemonds. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He was employed by Hamady Brothers for 42 years. He married Manueline Stanley on August 2, 1947. They had one child, Cathy Lemonds Vargo, now deceased. Surviving are wife; Manueline Lemonds; one brother, Ronald Lemonds of Omaha, Nebraska; sister-in-law, Cynthia Daniels; son-in-law, Curtis Vargo of Palos Heights, Illinois; special niece, Arita Magee and nephew Richard Zuber; many nieces and nephews.
