Bruce Caswell

CASWELL, Bruce Anthony - Age 93, of Grant formerly of Holly, passed away August 22, 2022. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Friday, August 26, 2022 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Burial will follow in Rose Center Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11AM until the time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to Newaygo V.F.W. or Fenton Seventh Day Adventist Church. Bruce was born November 14, 1928 in Flint, the son of Joab A. and Ruth E. (Vosburgh) Caswell. He was married to Dolores Elaine "Dee" Pittenger on June 25, 1950; she preceded him in death on August 14, 2021. Bruce was a graduate of Fenton High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving in WWII. He was a product designer for General Motors, retiring after many years of service. He was a longtime member of Fenton Seventh Day Adventist Church and recently Fremont Seventh Day Adventist Church. Bruce was a member of Holly VFW and an honorary lifetime member of Newaygo VFW. He is survived by his children, David (Judy) Caswell, Gary (Lisa) Caswell, Danny (Kim) Caswell, Diane (Jeff) Dawson and Larry Caswell; seven grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
