CARRIGAN, Bruce William, age 75, of Fenton, died suddenly, Saturday, December 17, 2005 at home. Funeral serv ices will be held 11AM Tuesday, December 20, 2005 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd. Fenton. Interment will follow at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, with veteran's honors to be performed under the auspices of Fenton V.F.W. Curtis-Wolverton Post #3243. Visitation will be Monday 2-5 and 7-9PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Bruce was born May 29, 1930 in Saskatchewan, Canada, the son of Hobert and Martha (Coressel) Carrigan. He married Susan Spear on March 10, 1978 in Fenton. Bruce lived in the Fenton area for the last 27 years, coming from the Hamburg area. He was a graduate St. Marys of Redford, a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving as a Hospital Corpsman in Korea, and was a retired Brick Mason. Surviving are his wife Susan; children, Neil Carrigan and wife Carol of Hamburg, Nancy Charles and husband Gilbert of Pickney, Robin Weaver and husband Kevin of Howell, Amy McFall and husband Gary of Flint; 4 grandsons; sister Martha Majestic of Grand Blanc; former wife, Patricia Carrigan of Hamburg and many nieces and nephews.
