Bruce Edward ALBRIGHT

ALBRIGHT, Bruce Edward, age 61, of Grand Blanc, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 21, 2009. A Memorial Service for Bruce will be held Friday, October 30th at 11 AM at South Baptist Church, 4091 Van Slyke Rd, Flint. Visitation will be 5-8 PM Thursday at Sharp Funeral Home, 6063 Fenton Rd, Flint. Bruce was born June 15, 1948 in Toledo, Ohio to Fred and June (Munson) Albright. As a teenager Bruce trusted Christ as his Savior and he sought to live his life pleasing to God. We KNOW he's in heaven. In 1974 Bruce met Ruth Draayer, they were married on June 28th, 1975. God blessed them with two fine sons, David and Mark. Bruce's principal employment was with Chrysler, as a product designer. Following his Chrysler retirement, Bruce began a new career as an over the road truck driver. He had an adventurous spirit, a creative mind, was hardworking, and a caring individual. He had many passions which included his family, church involvement, water sports, scuba diving, designing and building in his garage. He was a pilot and loved to fly. He was in process of building a self-designed plane. He authored a book, was a computer programmer, and one of his designs was patented by Chrysler. Bruce was a loving husband, father, grandfather and son. He will be missed dearly. Surviving family are his wife, Ruth; 2 sons, David & (Sara) Albright, granddaughter, Katelyn, Mark & (Karen) Albright; father, Fred & (Clara) Albright; and sister, Judy & (Ken) McGrath.
