SWYERS, Brian Martin, age 51, of Swartz Creek, died Thursday, February 23, 2012. A Funeral Mass will be held 1:00 PM Thursday March 1, 2012 at St. Mary's Queen of Angels Catholic Church, 4413 Morrish Rd., Swartz Creek. Fr. Steven Mattson celebrant. Visitation will be held 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday with a 6:30 PM Knights of Columbus rosary and a 7:00 PM prayer service at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Family will also receive friends from 12:00 PM until time of mass at the church. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Knights of Columbus. Mr. Swyers was born October 22, 1960 in Murrysville, Pennsylvania, the son of George and Eleanor (Martino) Swyers. He was an avid bowler, loved to read and enjoyed horse racing. He is survived by his aunt, Delores (Paul) Nielsen of Swartz Creek; cousins, Robert (Sharon) Hiller of Lansing, Susan (Jay) Wired of Ann Arbor, Jim Nielsen of Grand Blanc, Eric Nielson of Chicago, IL, Kirsten Nielsen of Grand Blanc, Tommy, Holly and Justin Ochodnicky of Owosso, Amanda Hiller of Lansing, Michelle Hiller of Oxford and many more cousins.
