Brian Hampton

HAMPTON, Brian K. - Age 53, of Flint, received his call to glory on November 8, 2014. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Saturday, November 15, 2014 at Higher Praise Church, 4060 Grand Blanc Rd., Swartz Creek, with Pastor Don Dennis officiating. Burial will follow in Flint Memorial Park, with the committal service officiated by his uncle, Ron Hampton. Visitation will be held 3-8 PM Thursday, 11-1 & 3-8 PM Friday at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint and from 10 AM until the time of service Saturday at the church. Those desiring may make contributions to Higher Praise Building Fund or Wounded Warrior Project. Brian was born May 2, 1961 in Flint and was a lifelong resident. He served his community for 37 years in the alarm industry. Brian married the love of his life, Tammy Jacobs on June 15, 1985. He is survived by his wife, Tammy; children, Melissa and husband Paul Weeks of Shelby Twp, SSGT Eric Hampton, USAF; grandchildren, Gage and Lilliana; brother, Harold Hampton II and Diane Boulet of East Lansing; sisters, Yvonne and husband Mike Coates of Davison, Dawn and husband Steve Hopper of Burton; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; special friends, John and Judy Orbon, Matthew Baker and Corinna Windle. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Marjorie Hampton. Brian will be sadly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
