Brenda Ayers

AYERS, Brenda Kay- age 75, of Fenton formerly of Ionia, passed away March 5, 2019. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Pastor Jayson Combs officiating. Visitation will be 10 AM until the time of service Saturday. Interment will be 2 PM Saturday at Balcom Cemetery in Ionia. Memorial contributions would be appreciated to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Brenda was born December 13, 1943in Ionia, the daughter of Paul Lamont and Pauline Marie (Kammers) Harwood. She married David L. Ayers in Ionia on April 23, 1966. Brenda graduated from Ionia High School and attended Central Michigan University. She was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening, and working Jigsaw and Crossword Puzzles. She was also an avid reader. Most importantly she enjoyed spending time with her family! Surviving are: her husband of 52 years, David; daughters, Amy (Greg) Granger and Brandy (James) Waite; grandchildren, Courtany, Bradley, Chase, Stephanie, Allison, Celia, Ryan (Jodi); great grandchildren, Hailey, Cali, Joslynn, Sarah, and Isabella; sister, Tracie (Roger) Stobert,; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
