Brayden Rayner

Brayden Steven Rayner, age 9, passed away on Monday, December 30, 2019, at his home in Fenton, MI.

Brayden was born on April 29th, 2010, in Tawas City, MI.   He had an unmatched spirit that flourished when he interacted with others.  A caring creative soul drove him to share his gifts with those less fortunate through outreach programs at his church or just a passer by that needed a helping hand. He was always looking to learn, both at home and at school. A tinkerer at heart, Brayden always had his eye on his next project or adventure.

Brayden is survived by his parents, Mehgan Rayner and Dustin Rayner; his brothers, Austin Rayner, Ben Rayner and Rylan Jones; his sister, Danyelle Morgan; grandparents, Kathy McQuillan, David Rayner and Denise Rayner; great grandfathers, Gordon Rayner and Ralph Zimmermann; many loving aunts, uncles and cousins , and his beloved cat Dexter.

Funeral services will take place at the St. Jude’s Episcopal Church, 106 E Elizabeth St, Fenton at 11 AM on Saturday, January 4, 2020. All are invited. Visitation will be held 4-8 PM Friday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton; and 10-11 AM Saturday at the church.  In lieu flowers, donations can be made in Brayden’s honor to the Play Like Jackson Foundation.
