Brandon Michael CARPENTER

CARPENTER, Brandon Michael Phillip, age 24, of Cornelius, North Carolina, formerly of Byron, passed away on Friday, April 13, 2012. Funeral Services will be 11:00AM Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Rev. Don Neuville officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday 1-8PM and Wednesday 10AM until time of service at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the Brandon Carpenter Memorial Fund. Brandon was born August 23, 1987 in Flint. He graduated from Byron High School in 2007 and was currently serving in the Army Reserves. Growing up, Brandon enjoyed skateboarding, riding motorcycles and jet skis. He was a creative artist, who recently sold some of his sketches. Brandon was also a talented musician who played guitar and drums. He also wrote poetry which revealed his big, caring heart for people. He had an outgoing personality, and a loving heart for his family and friends alike. As much as Brandon cared for others, in return they loved him dearly. He will be missed, and remembered always. Surviving are his mother, Kim Joslin and husband Tom of Byron; father, Stephen Carpenter; 2 sisters, Stephanie Carpenter and Paige Joslin of Byron; grandparents, Lois Charbeneau of Howell, Joyce Miller of Gladwin, Bill Carpenter of Mesick; aunts and uncles, Amy Goble (Rodney) of Pickney, Sandra Charbeneau of Frankfort, Albert Charbeneau (Mary) of Jackson, Mark Charbeneau(Amy) of Mt. Morris, David Charbeneau of Lansing, Robbie Carpenter, Jerry Carpenter of Mesick, Charles Carpenter of Flint; several cousins and many loving friends.
