Bogdan BESLAC

BESLAC, Bogdan - Age 67, of Swartz Creek, died March 9, 2012. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Monday, March 12, 2012 at St. Nicholas Orthodox Church, 2143 S. Center Rd., Burton. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held 12-9 PM Sunday at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint, with a Parastas service at 7 PM. Bogdan was born March 26, 1944 in Dobroselo Lika, Yugoslavia, the son of Milutin and Anka Beslac. After graduating and serving in the military he came to America in 1968 for better life. He was married to Janja Treskavica on February 14, 1970. Mr. Beslac retired from General Motors and was a member of St. Lazarus Orthodox Church in Detroit. He was a wonderful husband, loving father and grandfather. He was quick to help anyone in need and was loved by all those whose lives he had touched. Surviving are: wife, Janja; children, Milica, Rade, Nedeljka and Nedeljko; grandchildren, Nikolina, Joshua, Malina, Jacob, Bogdan and Dominic; brother, Rade and wife Milica; sister, Bosiljka; sister-in-law, Milka; many nieces, nephews, cousins and kumovi.
