Bobby Elder

ELDER, Bobby Dewayne - Age 76, of Linden, died April 17, 2017. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, April 23 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden. Visitation will be held 3-8 PM Saturday and from 2-3 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions in his name to Hill Road Baptist Church, 3500 W. Hill Rd., Flint. Bobby was born April 15, 1941 in Dexter, MO, the son of Donald and Roberta (Varner) Elder. Bobby served in the Army National Guard and retired from General Motors with over 30 years of service. He was a member of U.A.W. Local 659, Hill Road Baptist Church, Loose Senior Center and the Eagles. He is survived by his children, Robby (Connie) Elder, Sandra Elder, Nathan (Stephanie) Elder and their mother, Anne Eaton; grandchildren, Cameron, Lexie and Payton; siblings, Lee (Linda) Elder, Kathryn (Jim) Mitchell, Johnny Elder, David Elder, Joyce Kerr, Donna (Fred) Marshall; several nieces and nephews and longtime special friend, Julie Johnson.
