Billy Gene DuBois

DuBois, Billy Gene - age 92 of Linden, passed away on November 22, 2024. A private funeral service will be held at the Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 East Broad Street, Linden. Interment and military honors, will privately be held at Great Lakes National Cemetery.

Billy was born on February 21, 1932 in Risco, Missouri to the late Mitchell Edwin and Edith Irene (O'Daniel) DuBois. He married his childhood sweetheart, Aubrey Irvene Britt on June 16, 1951 in Flint, Michigan. They enjoyed 72 years of a loving happy marriage and became avid genealogists after their retirement. Aubrey preceded Billy in death on August 27, 2023.

He is survived by his six children, Cheryl DuBois, Michael (Robin) DuBois, Brian Duane (Rosemary) DuBois, Michelle (Tom) Rodgers, Teresa (Mark) Nelson, Jeff (Kathy) DuBois; 15 grandchildren;  many great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Aubrey; brother, Richard.

Billy served with honor in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He was employed in the Foundry Industry as a Machine Designer and Engineering Manager, at Sutter Products Company and George Fisher Systems in Holly, Michigan. He retired in 1991 after 33 years of service.
