Billie O'Neil Sr.

O'NEIL, Mr. Billie Lue, Sr. - Age 76, of Flint Township, died Monday, March 21, 2022.  Funeral services will be held 12:00 PM Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek (A live stream of the service will be available on Billie's obituary page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com).  Deacon Ron Kenney officiating. Burial in Great Lake National Cemetery, Holly.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home Tuesday from 4-8 PM. Billie was born June 12, 1945 in Big Rapids, the son of William Elgin and Mildred L. (Jeffries) O'Neil.  He attended Ainsworth High School.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.  He married Bonnie Ann Hisaw May 9, 1967 in Flint.  Billie had resided in the Flint area most of his life. He retired in 1992 from GM Buick Motors after 25 years of service.  He was a member of the Hammerberg Memorial Post 3720 VFW.  He enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing and watching Nascar and the Detroit Tigers.

Surviving are: his wife, Bonnie; children, Billie Lue O'Neil, Jr. of Morrice and Paula Brown (fiance', Terry Morris of Flint; grandchildren, Charles Brown III of Durand and Aubrey Brown of Swartz Creek; sisters, Luetta (Dale) Hunt of Davison, twin sister, Millie Houck of Lapeer, and Cathy (Roger) Mosbey of Flint; and several nieces and nephews.
