Bill Green

GREEN, Bill(Lowell)- age 82, of Swartz Creek, died suddenly Tuesday, May 3, 2016. Visitation will be held 12-5 PM Saturday, May 7 with a Rosary being prayed at 5 PM at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ducks Unlimited or Pheasants Forever Michigan Chapters, or an organization of one's choice. Bill was born and raised in Forest, Ohio. He graduated from Forest High School, class of 1951. He enlisted after graduation and served in the United States Air Force for four years. Bill was a devoted husband and father, as well as an avid hunter and fisherman. He so loved the out-of-doors. You could find Bill spending many days sharing this love with his children and grandchildren. The family finds comfort in knowing he left this world on a beautiful Spring day, doing what he loved best, a Spring turkey hunt. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Margo (Lischewsky); children, Robin (Drew) Edwards, Jackie Green (Steve Petrovich), Chris Green, Julie Atwell (Mike); grandchildren, Bill (Sarah) Peabody, Christy Peabody, Carly and Joe Petrovich; great-grandchildren, Kaylin and Gabe Peabody; siblings, Max (Mary) Green, Jerry (Marty) Green and Mary Humphrey.
