Beverly Wilson

WILSON, Beverly Kay - Age 78, of Flint, passed away Saturday, July 18, 2015 while at home with her family and friends. Services will be held 1:30 PM Thursday, July 23, 2015 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Dr. Richard Allen, Jr. officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Wednesday from 3-9 PM and Thursday from 12:30 PM until the time of service. After the service, Bev will be cremated and rejoin her husband Aron at Bethel Cemetery in Coushatta, LA. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to Muscular Dystrophy Association, Michigan Lupus Foundation, or a charity of your choice. Bev was born September 19, 1936 in Salt Lake City, UT the daughter of Albert Paul and Mae Elizabeth (Young) Knowlden. She married Aron M. Wilson November 8, 1958 in Flint and he preceded her in death March 31, 2006. She retired in 1988 from Michigan Bell (AT&T) after 32 years of service. She was active in the I.O.F. and F.O.E. Bev enjoyed bingo, casino trips, reading, and most of all she loved her family and friends. Bev is survived by; daughter, Deb Ashurst of Coushatta, LA and her sons, Aron and Phyllip Jennings, daughter, Lucy (Bob) Kassin of Clovis, NM and their daughters, Katrina Najera and Bethaney Beach, son, Aron Wilson, Jr. of Flint and his daughters, Regina Zofchak and Kassie and Maggie Wilson, daughter, Lisa Wilson of Flint and her sons, Dustin and Harlee Blocker, special adopted son, Byron (Bonnie) Rohde of Flint and his children, Jennifer, Jessica, Jeremy, and Brooke Rohde; 21 great grandchildren; sisters, Betty Adams, Diane Moore, Karen Woods, and Barbara Vlaandaren all of Utah; several nieces and nephews; Bev is also survived by special friends, Marie Luna and Rose Daniels. She was also preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Robert; brother, Paul; sister, Paulie; and daughter-in-law, JoAnn.
