Beverly Kay Reid

REID, Beverly Kay - age 65, of Flint, died Wednesday, January 2, 2008 at her residence after a long battle with lung cancer. Services will be held 2 PM Saturday, January 5, 2007 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek with her niece, Rev. Rhonda Houston officiating. Interment will follow at Montrose Cemetery. Visitation will be held 6-8 PM Friday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society. Beverly was born August 28, 1942 in Flint, the daughter of Melvin and Florence (Nippa) Harger and had resided in Montrose for many years. Beverly was a member of Riverside Tabernacle and enjoyed knitting and crocheting. Surviving are: four children, Gary R. McMann and wife, Genevieve, Bonnie L. and husband, David Reid, Deb K. and husband, Dudley Moody, Sandra F. and husband, Kevin Bergquist; eight grandchildren; sister, Joan and husband, Dick Cummings; brother, Dan Harger and wife, Deb; six nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed and loved by everyone including her beloved cat, Sweet Pea. Her parents and one sister preceded her in death.
