Beverly Perry

Perry, Beverly A. - Age 80, of Harrison, died February 24, 2023. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Thursday, March 2, 2023 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center,  6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc. Beverly was born July 7, 1942 to Earl and Onalee (Storms) Burgess. She attended Grand Blanc High school and went straight into the workforce. She worked at Fisher Body for most of her career then transferred to Buick City. She married Jesse Perry on Feb 4th 1984 at the little white chapel in Las Vegas. This is the moment when two families became one. After years of working, they found a piece of land in Harrison MI. They designed and built their dreamhouse (even though she didn’t get her reading nook) on a little lake called Springwood. This is where they spent the rest of their days. Bev enjoyed reading, playing cards (regardless of your age she never let you win…you had to earn it!), going to bingo, crochet, garage saleing (so she could send her famous birthday boxes) and her game show network.

She is survived by her children Timothy (Monet) Harger, Mark (Chris) Perry, Carl Perry, Dawn (Jack) McDaniel; 11 Grandchildren; and 10 Great Grandchildren; son-in-law Dennis Ferrell and daughter-in-law Melodie Harger.

She was preceded in death by her husband Jesse Perry; son Anthony Harger; and daughter June Ferrell; her mother and father;  and brothers Gary and Douglas Burgess.

She died just like she lived on her own terms and to heck with the rules.
