Beverly L. McCallister

McCALLISTER, Beverly L., - Age 76 of Flint, died at home Thursday, April 29, 2004.  Mrs. McCallister was born at Houghton Lake, April 7, 1928 the daughter of Clarence and Neva (Ballenger) Ross.  She has been a Flint area resident most of her life.  She and Marvin Paul McCallister were married for 37 years, he preceded her in death May 18, 1988.  Mrs. McCallister enjoyed playing bingo, trips to Las Vegas and bowling.  She was a member of the Flint Bowling Association and the National 600 Club.  Surviving are three children: Diana Eigner and husband Leo, Randall McCallister and wife Sandy, Gregory McCallister and friend Amanda.  There are 9 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, a brother, J.C. Ross and wife Norma, a sister, Jenny Detmer and husband Bud and several nieces and nephews.  Services will be 1:00 PM Monday, May 3, 2004 at the Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., (Just south of Hill Rd.) Minister Mark Aites will officiate.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 9 PM Sunday and Monday from 9 AM until service time.  Memorial contributions in her name may be given to the McLaren Kidney Dialysis Center.  The family gives their gratitude and thanks to the care given by Avalon Hospice and to Sue Huff and Angie Burrows of the McLaren Kidney Center.  Friends may share online condolences with the family at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
