LINTON Beverly A. of Linden, died May 30,2007, after a long battle with cancer. She chose cremation which has already taken place. A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 p.m. June 9,2007 Â at Sharp Funeral Homes Linden Chapel 209 E.Broad St.,Linden.The Family will receive visitors from noon until the service begins at 2 p.m. Beverly was born in Flint Michigan to the late Frank and Eva Day on September 25,1934. She attended school in Flint MI and received an associates degree from Mott Community College. Beverly's career included teaching school, serving as a police women for the City of Flint and as worker/supervisior for the Department of Human Services in Genesee, Oakland and Saginaw Counties. She retired from Saginaw County in 1996 and moved to Linden in 2003. Beverly loved her winters in Florida and the time spent there with her great grand daughter, Liliana. She enjoyed day trips, stamping, audio books and puzzles of every kind. Beverly was also an avid Piston's Fan. Beverly is survived by two daughters, Lorraine Parker of Dunedin, and Leslie (Blair) Little of Grand Blanc. Two grandsons Max Maisano, and Eric Little. Greatgrandaughter, Liliana Maisano. She leaves two sister, Elaine (Willard) Privett of Flint and Jackie (Bob) Klarich of Florida as well as several nieces and nephews and their children. She is also survived by Nancy Weirich a special friend and loving companion of over 40 years. A special Thank you goes to Beverly's niece Rose Rybo for her time and devotion in assisting with Beverly's care. Genesys Hospice was excellent in their care for the past several months and Thank you goes to their staff and volunteers. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Genesys Hospice.
