Beverly Fay Gray

Gray, Beverly Fay - Age 86, of Fenton, formerly of Romeo, passed away August 22, 2024. Visitation will be held from 9:00 am until the time of service at 10:30 am Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Fr. John Maksym officiating. Burial will follow in Great Lakes National Cemetery. Those desiring may make contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Beverly was born January 25, 1938 in Detroit, the daughter of Luther and Helen (Lynch) Webb. She was a graduate of Fraser High School class of 1956. Beverly married Carl A. Gray on July 5, 1958 in Mt. Clemens and he preceded her in death on March 23, 2009. Beverly was a dedicated homemaker and spent 20 years as a waitress at The Apple Orchard Inn in Romeo. She was an active member of the Romeo VFW Women's Auxiliary. Beverly had a passion for bowling and gardening, but her greatest joy came from the time spent with her children and grandchildren, creating cherished memories that will last a lifetime. Her warmth, love and cheery disposition will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Surviving are: son, Bill (Lisa) Gray of Fenton, daughters, Carleen Gray of Grosse Pointe Shores, Kathleen (Dave) Leeke of Las Vegas, NV; grandchildren, Emily (Michael) Hicks, Stephanie Gray, Ryan Gray; great-granddaughter, Aila Hicks; brother, Jim (Joan) Webb, sister, Pam (Bob) Waters; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Helen Webb; husband, Carl Gray; brothers, Russell Webb, Chuck Webb, Tom Webb, sister, Doris Kudla.
