Beverely Schaard

Schaard, Beverely Ann- Age 74, of Holiday, FL, formerly of Fenton, died Thursday, June 26, 2008 at Chandler Hall Hospice, Newtown, PA, surrounded by her loving family. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, July 2, 2008 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Burial immediately following in Sunset Hills Cemetery, Flint. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 6-8 PM Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, 1332 North Halsted St, Suite 201, Chicago, IL 60622. Beverely was born January 9, 1934 in Flint, the daughter of the late Harold and Dorothy (Clark) Pickett. She married Bernard L. Schaard and he preceded her in death November 21, 2002. Beverely worked as a customer service representative with New Jersey Manufacturers Company for over 15 years. She was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church in New Port Richey, FL and an associate member of the Lutheran Church of the Resurrection in Yardley, PA. She was also a member of the Lake Conley Rythmnaires in Holiday, FL, the Red Hat Society and she also volunteered at St. Mary Medical Center Langhorne PA. She will be deeply missed by her family and by all who knew her. Surviving are: 2 children, Diane C. and husband Michael Casey, Kenneth L. and wife Andrea Schaard both of Newtown, PA; 6 grandchildren, Jennifer, Zachary, Eric, Alyssa, Colleen and Lori; 4 great grandchildren; sister, Kathleen and husband Harley Braun of Fenton.
