WISCHMEYER, Betty Jean - Age 84, of Swartz Creek, died July 14, 2015. Funeral mass will be celebrated 11:00 AM Friday, July 17, 2015 at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church, 4413 Morrish Road, Swartz Creek. Fr. Louis Ekka celebrant. Committal services are 10:30 AM Wednesday, July 22 at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Visitation will be held 2-8 PM Thursday with a vigil service at 7PM at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek; and 10 AM until the time of mass on Friday at the church. Those desiring may make contributions to the charity of one's choice. Betty was born May 8, 1931 in Winn, Michigan, she was the daughter of Chester and Marjorie (Barker) Parmalee. She married Silverius Hugh "Sil" Wischmeyer on April 19, 1952 in Mt. Pleasant and he preceded her in death on June 5, 2010. She worked at the St. Mary Queen of Angels Rectory for 35 years. Betty loved animals, the outdoors, and her grandchildren. She is survived by six children, Brenda Wischmeyer of Swartz Creek, Marlene (Brent) Cole of Swartz Creek, Alan Wischmeyer of White Lake, Denise (Gary) Hetherington of Kissimmee, FL, Kelly Owens of Grand Blanc, Annette Fisher of Saginaw; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sisters, Gladys, Ike, Helen and Mickey; many nieces and nephews.
