Betty Tankersley

TANKERSLEY, Betty Joyce - Age 92, of Linden, formerly of Fenton. Passed away April 2, 2022. Private services will be held. Arrangements entrusted to Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Betty was born July 12, 1929 in Flint to the late Harold and Minnie Parker. On April 23, 1949 she married Richard Lee Tankersley and he preceded her in death on September 23, 2002. She began her career at Consumers Power, then transitioning to a homemaker to raise her 3 daughters. Betty went back to work later in life at the Fenton Township Hall working in their accounting department, after that she spent time working at various galleries. She had a great flare for interior design, her friends and family always asking her to assist them with their homes. Beloved & Devoted mother of: Beth, Sue (Floyd), and Jan (Mike). Betty was adored by her Grandsons, Great-Grandchildren, and many other loving family members. She was preceded in death by her cherished Husband of 53 years, Richard.
