Betty Ann Talbot

TALBOT, Betty A.  Age 81, of Byron died Sunday, April 2, 2006 at Durand Convalescent Center. Funeral services will be held 12 Noon Wednesday, April 5, 2006 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek with Pastor Jim Nelson officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Linden. Visitation at the funeral home will be from 1  9 pm Tuesday. Betty was born April 12, 1924 in Portland, Indiana, the daughter of Orvil and Ruby Atkinson. She was married to Orvil F. Talbot in Flint on June 25, 1945 and he preceded her in death in October, 1991. She loved raising Chickens and Turkeys. She was a wonderful cook and baked the very best pies. She took great pride in being a very special and devoted mother. Surviving are sons; Ray Talbot of Byron and Roy Talbot of Grand Rapids; daughter Sandy McClure of Byron.
