Betty Storey

Storey, Betty Jane - Age 92, of  Fenton, died May 6, 2021. Services will be held 1 PM Friday, May 21, 2021at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel,  1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Interment in Crestwood Memorial Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Visitation will be held from 10 AM until the time of the service at 1 PM on Friday May 21. Those desiring may make contributions to Medical Team Hospice. Jane was born March 19, 1929 in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Ray Voltenburg and Mary (Routzon) Voltenburg. She was a graduate of Grand Blanc High School. Jane married Robert Storey, the love of her life, on November 12, 1949 in Flint; he preceded her in death April 24, 1993. She worked at A&P Grocery in Fenton for years retiring in 1984. Jane was involved with the State Bank Forget-Me-Nots, the Loose Senior Center, and the Fenton Senior Center. She enjoyed playing cards, casino trips, fishing, reading, bowling and most importantly time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Surviving are: daughters, Carol (William) Crova of Shelby Township, Marsha (Edward) Hamil of Minnesota; grand-daughters, Jennifer Christel of Minnesota, Mary (Patrick) Clor of Rochester, Karen Crova of Connecticut; great-grandchildren, Ella Clor and Garrett Clor; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers, Robert and Merle; sisters Eva Threlkeld, Nellie Tilley, Doris Frasier, Valetta Calder and Neoma Burleson.
