Betty Schulte

SCHULTE, Betty Evelyn - Age 76, of Fenton, died January 27, 2015. Services will be held 11 AM Monday, February 2, 2015 at First Presbyterian Church of Fenton, 503 S. Leroy St., Fenton. Rev. Larry McMellen will officiate. The family will receive friends from 2-8 PM Sunday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Those desiring may make contributions to the Alzheimer's Association. Betty was born October 26, 1938 in Amherstdale, WV, the daughter of Fletcher and Ida Mae (Bragg) Spears. She was a 1956 graduate of Chapmanville High School in Logan County, WV and attended Flint Junior College. She was married to Harry H. Schulte on June 29, 1957. Mrs. Schulte enjoyed traveling with her husband in their fifth wheel and sewing. She was a member of the TOPS Club of Fenton for 46 years and achieved the 25 year KOPS award. She is survived by her husband, Harry; children, Marla (Paul) Wise, Steven (Colleen) Schulte; grandchildren, Nicholas and Hannah Downs, Emma, Jonah and Audrey Schulte; brother, Fletcher Spears; sister, Jean Mertz. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Stephanie Ann Schulte and four sisters, Ruth, Pearl, Garnet and Eunice.
