PUTT, Betty Lou (Tullar) - Age 95, of Linden, passed away Friday, November 8, 2024. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, December 7, 2024 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton (The service will be live streamed and can viewed via the link on Betty Lou's obituary page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com). Pastor John Walworth officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11:00 AM until the time of the service. Betty Lou was born June 19, 1929 in Flint, the daughter of Harry and Irene (Burris) Tullar. She was a 1947 graduate of Durand High School. She married Eugene Guilford Putt August 12, 1949 in Angola, IN and he preceded her in death September 14, 2010. Betty Lou retired from Creative Form in Fenton. She was a life member of the Fenton Fraternal Order of Eagles Aries #2460. She had resided in Linden for many years and summered in Oscoda. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, pottery, boating, snowmobiling and camping.
Surviving are: her sons, Gil (Cheryl) Putt of Wind Lake, WI and Neal (Vicky) Putt of Fenton; sister, Shirley Pentecost of Michigan/Florida; brothers, Richard (Pat) Tullar of Durand and Harry (Maxine) Tullar of Boyne City; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Irene Tullar; brothers, Thomas and James Tullar; sisters, Mary Jane Wooten and Phyllis Leland. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
