Betty Pritchett

PRITCHETT, Betty Jane - age 80, of Detour Village, MI, formerly of Grand Blanc, died Thursday, February 26, 2009 at Cedar Cove in Cedarville, MI. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Monday, March 2, 2009 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint with Fr. Tim MacDonald officiating. Interment will follow at Crestwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held 4-8 PM Sunday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to Cedar Cove. Mrs. Pritchett was born September 1, 1928 in Flint, the daughter of Walter and Laura (Johnson) Ruff. She has resided in Genesee County her entire life. She married Gilbert Pritchett in 1946 and he preceded her in death in 1978. Mrs. Pritchett retired from Fischer Body Turnstead in 1983. She enjoyed golf and bowling. Surviving are: two children, Pat Pritchett and wife, Elaine of TN, Sherry and husband, Ted Postula of Goetzville, MI; three grandchildren, Patrick Pritchett of Burton, Gordon Postula and wife, Natalie of Cheboygan, Todd Postula and wife, Jen of Goetzville; three great-grandchildren, Marlie, Sean and Tucker; three brothers, Gene Ruff and wife, Robbie of Grand Blanc, David Ruff and wife, Anita of MD, George Wheeler and wife, Gloria of CA; sister, Jackie and husband, Jerry McCreedy of CA; many nieces and nephews.
