Betty Jane Pilon

PILON, Betty Jane (Hillaker)  Age 69, of Flint, died Wednesday, October 1, 2003 at Genesys Hospice Care Center, Goodrich. Funeral services will be held 3 PM Sunday, October 5, 2003 at First General Baptist Church, 1102 W. Hemphill Rd., Flint with Rev. William G. McMillen officiating. Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Saturday at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to First General Baptist Church. Mrs. Pilon was born March 26, 1934 in Flint, the daughter of James Earl and Florence Marie (Williams) Hillaker. She married Richard Ray Pilon on February 16, 1985 in Flint. Mrs. Pilon was a member of First General Baptist Church and was very active teaching Sunday school and in other church activities. She was employed as dentist office manager for Dr. Sol Gaynor for many years. She enjoyed quilting and sewing and no one will for get her apple pie. Surviving are: husband, Richard Pilon of Flint; six children, Nancy Middleton (Keith) Dorband, Paul David (Paula) Middleton, all of VA, Mark Allen (Belinda) Middleton of DE, Stephen Lee (Valerie) Middleton of Swartz Creek, Timothy Dale (Wanda) Middleton of KS, Andrew Troy (Kathy) Middleton of Flint; six step-children; 26 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; father, James Hillaker of Lewiston, MI; three brothers, James (Shirley) Hillaker of FL, Richard (Belva) Hillaker of Clio, Donald (Linda) Hillaker of Bayport; several nieces and nephews.
