Betty Jane LaGuire

Betty Jane LaGuire - Age 98, of Flint, passed away April 12, 2025. Private services will be held with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery, Gaines. Those desiring may make a contribution in her memory to Old Newsboys of Flint. Betty was born March 30, 1927 in South Boardman, MI, the daughter of the late William and Florence (Sutton) Feriend. She married Theodore Ray LaGuire on March 1, 1947; he preceded her in death on March 19, 1987. She was a longtime, faithful member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Gaines. Betty retired from A&P after 50 years of service. She was an amazing woman with a beautiful soul and spirit. She touched all lives she came in contact with and will have a lasting impression that can never be forgotten. She is survived by her children, Janet (Mike) Mihailuk, Pamela Ray Tyson (Eric Hauglie), Diane (Duane) LaGuire-Quinn and Theodore Ray (Brenda) LaGuire II; grandchildren, Jodee (Matt) Tyson-Settle, Travis (Amanda) LaGuire-Quinn, Julie (Harry) Cassetty, Rayanne Collins and Theodore Ray LaGuire III; great-grandchildren, Morgan (Michael) Ritenour, Henry LaGuire-Quinn, Fiona Quinn, Savannah Tyson, Gabriel Tyson, Ava Tyson, Louis Cassetty and Elaina Cassetty; many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her grandsons, Mick Mihailuk, Kenny Mihailuk, Todd Tyson and Daniel Tyson. Many thanks to McLaren Hospice for their wonderful care.
