KROTZER, Betty Ruth - age 80, of Flint/Swartz Creek, died Wednesday, January 31, 2007 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Saturday, February 3, 2007 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., with Pastor Steven Maske officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be held 1-9 PM Friday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to St. Paul Lutheran Church Sunday School. Betty was born November 24, 1926 in Minneapolis, MN, the daughter of Herbert and Hazel (Hansen) Raedeke. She married Joseph 'Bernard' Krotzer on August 17, 1946 at Grace Lutheran Church, Flint and he preceded her in death on July 11, 2004. Betty was a founding member of Swartz Creek VFW/AMVETS Post #3720 Auxiliary. She was a former member of Grace Lutheran Church and was active in Swartz Creek Senior Center. Betty enjoyed traveling with the U.A.W. retirees, crafts, playing cards and especially her grandchildren. Surviving are: 5 children, Joseph, Jr. of Marion, Larry D. and wife Paulette of Swartz Creek, Dennis M. and wife Marilyn of Baroda, MI, Terry and wife Virginia 'Bebe' of Swartz Creek, Tamara J. and husband Michael Kapraun of Flint; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sister, Lorraine (Ed) Keeler of Flushing; two brothers, Norm (Shirley) Raedeke of FL, Herb (Pauline) Raedeke of NM.
