Betty Jane JOHNSON

JOHNSON, Betty Jane -- Age 97, of Cadillac, formerly of Swartz Creek, died April 11, 2012. The family will receive friends 3-8 PM Tuesday, April 17 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Those desiring may make contributions to Hospice of Michigan, 932 N. Mitchell St., Cadillac, MI. Betty was born March 20, 1915 in Saginaw the daughter of Ford B. and Zoah M. (Fleckenstein) Miller. She married Max Heusted Johnson on December 26, 1938 in Swartz Creek; he preceded her in death May 10, 2002. Surviving are: three children, Martha Jane and husband John Donald Nemecek of Lake City, David H. and wife Susan Johnson of Troy, Montana, Barry M. and wife Anne Johnson of Canby, Oregon; five grandchildren, Scot and wife Shelby Nemecek, Todd Nemecek, Elizabeth and husband Ian Harris, Ben Johnson, and Adam and wife Sarah Johnson; four great-grandchildren, Mackenzie, Harley, Skylar, and Max Nemecek. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Therold, William, David, and W. Louis Miller; and her husband Max Johnson.
